Bendemeer Farm
Within Bendemeer’s 130 hectares of rolling pasture land; some 49 hectares are
available for the shared use of all owners.
The Woolshed
At the gateway to Bendemeer is a schist cottage, which forms part of the old
woolshed complex, and is understood to be the farm’s original cottage. The
Woolshed is designed as an entertainment facility for owners and their guests.
These structures have been restored to best represent the heritage of this
spectacular property, and are available for the shared use of all owners, and
won a New Zealand Institute of Architects Award in 2005.
The Pavilion
The award winning lakeside Pavilion has been designed
as a multi-functional all-occasion venue for owners and their guests.
Tennis Courts
Two astro-turf courts are designed
for year round use.
Heli-Pad
A helicopter landing facility will be constructed
on the property to enable easy access to remote areas for skiing, fishing,
hunting and sight seeing. Located just a few minutes drive from the Lodge,
the service will be easily accessible but positioned so as not to disturb
other residents. (Subject to resource consent).
